Kristin grew up in Oneonta, NY. She has lived in Cohasset for three years and has three kiddos, Paigely (6.5), Decker (4) and Riggs (8 months)
◇ What is your favorite thing about living here?
I adore the town, the beach, the woods…and the people make it even better.
◇Tell us what you love to do with your kids around town?
So many things! We hike, we bike, we go
to the library, the beach, the playgrounds. We love to go out to eat and visit our favorite store,
Buttonwood Books!
◇ What is your favorite local winter activity?
Skating with the kids

◇ Do you want to share a favorite family recipe?
Eh.
◇ Best fitness class on the South Shore?
My husband and I enjoy Glove Up Fitness. It’s great because it has babysitting on
site!
◇ What is your favorite moment as a mom to date?
Wow that’s a tough one to narrow down! When I came home from the hospital with my 3rd, the kids had made notes and put them all over the house welcoming us back. It was so heartwarming.
◇ What is the toughest part about being a mom?
Feeling like I’m not giving them enough of my time or my full attention.
◇ What is the best advice you have received as a mom?
Things don’t have to be perfect. It sets up a false reality for your kids. Indulge in the imperfection of it all!
◇ Advice every new mom should hear?
Be there for the little things. The little things make up the big things.
◇ What is one thing you never leave the house without?
My kids! Just kidding. My wedding ring.
◇ What is something people would be surprised to know about you?
I’m one of three redheaded sisters.
◇ What do you do for work?
I do a lot of social media and marketing consulting work for both start-up companies and larger brands. I write my
own lifestyle blog Misadventures in Mommyhood and I serve on 2 boards.
◇ Are you involved with a local organization?
I am a board member of the Cohasset Education Foundation – I handle all of their social media and I am also board member of the Norwell VNA.
◇ Where do you love to shop around here?
Buttonwood Books! Target (duh), H&M and Nordstrom.
