Do you ever marvel at those beautiful french macarons found in fancy bakeries? These delicious Parisian sandwich cookies are remarkably simple once you learn the science and technique behind them. In this hands-on workshop, Mix It Up Kitchen’s pastry chef will show you how to make meringue batter with techniques such as piping, ribboning and baking. Each group will work on a different filling and take home a sampler of all three varieties (strawberries ‘n cream, chocolate ganache and lime coconut).
