Galentine’s Day is an occasional to celebrate your female friendships! Let’s face it, mommin’ just ain’t easy, so in honor of those special bonds, we rounded up four unique and fun ways to spend time together in and around the South Shore!
Chunky knit blankets are all the rage lately and you’ll be surprised how easy and fun they are to make with just your two hands! (Absolutely no prior knitting experience required!) You can book a private party (minimum 5) and learn to knit a cozy blanket around 40″x60″. All throws will use 5 full skeins of yarn which equates to 140 yards! $400 for up to a party of 5 (minimum) + $75 each additional attendee. Pricing includes all materials and a 2 hour experience. To book your party, email Sarah at [email protected].
This is the place to build on-trend, farmhouse-classic, inspirational pieces of décor for you to showcase in your home or to give as a gift. Board and brush offers a vintage, timeless look with accents of black and weathered wood to help cultivate your inner DIY design skills. Each hands-on workshop teaches you the techniques needed to create a custom piece that looks professionally made. You are the artist! (AND It’s BYOB & BYOF!)
Axe Throwing is a lot of fun (and totally safe) for you and your best gal pals! The staff at Crazy Axes in Hanover are super friendly and encouraging! We recommend their “Glow and Throw” package, where you throw under the black lights (because, that’s really cool!) Sessions are 75 minutes long, and the space is BYOB and BYOF!
What’s better than a slumber party with your best friends? How about one in a hotel room with wine, a fire place, and views of the ocean? Book a suite with your besties and enjoy all the amenities the hotel offers including suites with balconies and views of the ocean, a gas fireplace, indoor hot tub and pool, fitness center and more! Check in, go for a long walk or jog along the shore and come back for comfy jammies, games, and all around girl-time! Now, the biggest question is do you binge watch 90210, Dawson’s Creek or Sex and The City?
