DIY Easter Play Doh | South Shore Moms

Try this super easy DIY for those Easter baskets! We all know kids love play doh, and this all-natural recipe can be made in about 10 minutes with only 6 ingredients!

Ingredients:
1 cup flour
1 cup water
2 tsp cream of tartar
1/3 cup salt
1 Tbsp vegetable oil
natural food coloring
(optional) 6-10 drops of essential oils. We used orange, lime, lavender, grapefruit, lemon and peppermint. Smells SO good!

Storage:
plastic jars

Directions:
In a saucepan, combine all dry ingredients. Add wand vegetable oil. Over medium to low heat, stir mixture until it thickens (approx. 2-3 mins). Continue to stir until play doh begins to gather around your spoon. Remove from heat. Knead out any remaining lumps. Separate the play doh into individual balls. Add natural food coloring and essential oils. We made 3 batches and divided each batch in half for a total of six colors/scents. We used these plastic jars to store the play doh.
