For many of us it was the first week back at school for the little ones! How did drop-off go? Were there tears from your kiddos — or were you the one doing all the crying (or happy dance in the parking lot like us)? As we get back into our school year routines it’s an adjustment for everyone. So much to do and so much to keep track of. Mom brain to the max! Well, we’ve got you covered. This is our “Friyay Roundup” where we share all you need to know as you welcome the weekend with open arms.
We are expecting (hoping the weatherman is right this time) partly cloudy skies with a high of 82 for both Saturday and Sunday. Perfect for all the outdoor activities going on this weekend.
Around town:
There is a corn festival in Norwell, a touch a truck event in Hanover, a waterfront festival at Nantasket Beach, open barnyard in Hingham and a farm day in Duxbury.
Moms, you may want to check out ladies farm fitness, head to the Hingham farmers market or the flea market at the Marshfield fair grounds. It will also be a great weekend to enjoy one of the many playgrounds in our beautiful area. Whatever you decide to do, get outside and enjoy this endless summer while it lasts. Extra points for keeping those kiddos out of the house so all your tidying efforts remain in tact.
