Where are you from originally?
I grew up in Foxboro, MA

Where do you now call home and how long have you lived there?
West Bridgewater is where I currently live and have lived for 20 years.

How did you start your business?
I started my business on a whim- accessibility to medical weight loss which was becoming challenging and I saw an opportunity to help others access medication to help change their lives.

Please tell us more about your business, location, mission, what you are trying to achieve?
South Shore Weight Loss & Aesthetics is a woman-owned, medically supervised wellness clinic focused on helping people lose weight in a way that’s sustainable, improve their overall health, and feel more confident. We are located on RT 106 in West Bridgewater.

Our mission is simple:
To provide safe, effective, and personalized medical weight loss and aesthetic care that empowers our patients to feel confident, healthy, and in control of their bodies. We’re located right here on the South Shore of Massachusetts, and what really sets us apart is our in-person, personalized care. You’re not just another number or online form—we take the time to get to know you. By combining medical expertise with real support and accountability, we’re with you every step of the way on your journey. My ultimate mission of SSWLC is to provide access and affordability.

What is your favorite part about the work you do?
Helping others become or return to the person they want to be. Losing weight has such a huge impact on ones overall being, when someone reaches their goal weight or is starting to improve their health then that is extremely rewarding to us.

What do you hope to achieve within the next three to five years?
Offer more advanced metabolic and wellness services, build a strong community focused on accountability and support, become the go-to trusted medical weight loss provider on the South Shore. As well as, continue to grow, adding additional longevity and Aesthetic offerings. Also continue to offer GLP-1 medical weight loss programs.

What do you find to be the toughest part about running a business?
Growth vs. Stability. This is a big one for us right now. Do I expand services? Do I hire more staff? Do I scale or protect what’s already working? Growth is exciting—but it also brings risk, more responsibility, and less control if not done carefully.

What is the best advice you have received as a business owner?
The best advice I follow as a medical weight loss clinic owner is to stay grounded in evidence-based care and protect my reputation above all else. I focus on building real relationships with my patients through personalized, in-person support and accountability, rather than chasing trends or quick fixes. I keep my services simple and scalable, price based on the value I provide, and prioritize retention by helping patients achieve long-term success. I hire a team that shares my patient-first approach, stay strict with compliance, and make sure any growth or new services align with my mission and the quality of care I’m committed to delivering.

What is your best advice for a someone looking to start their own business or who recently has started their own business?
Be mindful of analysis paralysis. If you’re an entrepreneur at heart, there comes a point where you have to stop overthinking and take the leap.

What is something people would be surprised to know about you?
Something people might be surprised to know about me is that I built my business while also working full- time at a university. What started as a bit of a whim quickly grew into a successful clinic, but it took a lot of risk, long hours, and truly believing in myself. At the same time, I’m deeply invested in every single patient—this isn’t just a business to me, it’s personal and I can relate to almost every patient.

And outside of all of that, I love camping with my family in Maine, scrapbooking with my friends, which is my creative outlet and helps keep me grounded.

Is there a Quote or mantra you live by?
Yes! “I don’t just run a business—I change lives,starting with my own.”

Your go-to Pandora/Spotify/Apple Music station that is playing in the office?
Soft Rock, Pop, and country Pop

Your favorite local spot for coffee:
I LOVE COFFEE! Starbucks and many local coffee shops- Frontline Café is a favorite

Anything else you’d love to share?
I am a wife, have two kids Brooklynn 12, Nicholas 8 and Rosie our dog.
