Meet a Mom: Ashley Scribi | South Shore Moms

Ashley maintains her own personal blog that we are always admiring, so we are proud that she has agreed to share a little more about herself to our followers!

Which town do you live in?
Quincy

Where are you from originally?
Both my husband and I are born and raised in Quincy.

How many kids do you have? Names and Ages?
Amelia is 2.5 and we are due with a son in April.

What is your favorite thing about living here?
The proximity to everything. We love being able to head down 3A to the Cape and be so close to the city/airport and even the other new england states! And you can’t beat a city with an ocean/city view.

What do you love to do with your kids around town?
Amelia is enrolled in dance class and we love to head to local events. We look forward every year for the Christmas/Thanksgiving events that the city of Quincy offers.

What is your favorite moment as a mom to date?
There are so many but I love to be able to share and show my favorite things with Amelia like Cape Cod. She refers to it as “Capey” and her love for the beach is just like her parents!

What is your profession? Are you in the corporate world or full time Mama? Side hustler?
I am in Finance in the Grocery Industry and also do blogging/influencing on the side.

What is your #1 go-to meal on a busy night?
American Chop Suey! Such a good comfort and quick meal that everyone loves.

What is your favorite restaurant in the area?
They just opened Liberty Tavern in Quincy and it is awesome. Great food and vibe.

What is one thing you never leave the house without?
A mask LOL but I would have to say my Yeti filled with water.

What are the first 3 things you do every morning? Do you have a “morning routine”, or does it differ daily?
Covid and pregnancy have completely changed my routine but I always make sure I start off with a good serum (Drunk Elephant C Serum is the BEST).

What is your best advice for new mamas?
Ask for help and take the help. It takes a village. I know it is easier to control things yourself but you and your family will be better off if you take the help. I would be nothing without my support system.

If you had one free day that was solely dedicated to “me” time, what would you do?
Get my hair blown out, drinks/ happy hour with a live band with my girlfriends and then a 7 pm bedtime.

Any favorite books, podcasts, blogs?
Huge Elin Hilderband fan and of course my own blog if you want to check it out ; www.scribistyles.com or @aslheymscribi on Instagram.

Anything else you’d like to share?
Thank you for having me. I would love for you to all follow along on instagram and my little journing of influencing. I am a proud wife of a firefighter and just love sharing our life and brands/products I love. We absolutely love the South shore and all it has to offer!

Thanks, Ashley! And a huge thank you to your husband for his service in our community!
