Where are you from originally?
Way up north in Walpole, NH, located along the Connecticut River. Growing up in the country, I spent a lot of time outdoors enjoying nature with my family dog. My love for animals started at a very young age, so being able to work with dogs professionally now truly feels like a gift.
Tell us about your family! How many kids, names/ages?
My husband and I have three girls — Bella, Bianca, and Bria. Watching them grow up around animals and develop that same love and care has been incredible. The compassion and responsibility they’re learning through working with animals makes me so proud.
How did you start your business?
I started my business 15 years ago walking one dog. Through hard work, quality of care, and word-of-mouth recommendations, it grew organically into what it is today.
Where do you now call home and how long have you lived there?
We call Hingham home and have lived here since I started my business 15 years ago
What is your favorite part about living in the South Shore?
The seaside charm and coastal living. Love the strong sense of community. It’s very family-oriented, and I run into someone I know almost everywhere I go.
What family activity do you enjoy most?
We love heading to the park locally with the kids and our dogs. We also cherish vacations where we can include the dogs going to the country or the Cape.

What is your favorite part about the work you do?
Definitely working with the dogs. I’ve developed lasting bonds with so many of them over the years. The trust and connection that grow over time are truly so special.
Are you involved with any non-profits or do any volunteering?
Yes, I serve on the board of the Scituate Animal Shelter. I also volunteer and donate to many charities through my company, A Pet’s Life, within the community.
What do you find to be the toughest part about being a working mom?
Balancing family life and running a business is always a challenge. I’m constantly working to show up as my best self in both roles and navigating what that looks like in different seasons.
What is the best advice you have received as a mom?
Protect your energy, not just your time.
What is your best advice for a new mom?
If you’re worrying about whether you’re a good mom, you already are one.
What is something people would be surprised to know about you?
I’m very sensitive and caring beneath the surface. I’m incredibly competent, but there’s a softness driving it all. I think that’s why I connect so deeply with animals — they sense the truth of who you are and your energy.
Is there a Quote or mantra you live by?
I move with purpose, and I lead with care.
Your go-to Pandora/Spotify/Apple Music station?
SiriusXM 90s on 9

Your favorite local spot for: date night, coffee break, workout, new outfit, self-care, “me time”?
We love The Corner Stop! You’ll often see us there on a Friday or Saturday night with the kids. Great food, great atmosphere, and very family-friendly.
Anything else you’d love to share?
At the end of the day, everything I do — both as a mom and in my business — comes back to creating a loving environment. I truly believe people (and animals) feel how you show up. I try to lead with kindness and heart in every role I’m in.
