Brooke is a “Jersey Girl” from Long Valley, NJ. Her husband is originally from Duxbury, MA, which is why they ended up on the South Shore. They have lived in Hingham for almost three years. They have three littles, Vance (4), Carter (2.5) and they recently welcomed another cutie to their gang, Trey (3 months).
◇ What is your favorite thing about living here?
The close proximity to the beach while also being so close to Boston, best of both worlds. Also, there are a ton of young families in town so it has made the transition smooth, we have made some great friends.
◇ What do you love to do with your three kiddos around town?
Be outdoors as much as possible, beach, playgrounds, local attractions (World’s End, Bare Cove Park, Hornstra Farms). Taking the ferry into Boston to explore, visit the Children’s Museum or Aquarium. Love the Friday night summer concerts at the Shipyard.
◇ What is your favorite family friendly restaurant in the area?
Two of our favorites are Boathouse Bistro and Crow’s Landing
◇ Share a kid friendly / family favorite recipe that is a hit in your home.
Black Bean, Spinach & Corn Enchiladas (shared from my sister in-law but my kids love them)!
◇ Do you have a favorite local spot for date night when you can escape being a Mother of Three?
We love The Snug for a cozy night, their steak tips are to die for . Local 02045 was another good spot for outdoor summer dining
◇ What has been your favorite moment as a mom so far?
Other than meeting each of my children for the first time, I would say my favorite moments are watching how much they love one another and forming a lifelong bond. When I catch those rare moments of them playing nicely together and/or defending their sibling at a local playground, it melts my heart.
◇ What do you find to be the toughest part about being a mom?
Patience, Patience, Patience (something our Reverend advised on our wedding day for marriage, ha)! Also, the constant struggle between finding the perfect balance between work and home.
◇ What is the best advice you have ever received as a mom?
“They aren’t giving you a hard time, they are having a hard time”. Trying to remind myself that I am my children’s safe haven and that they look up to me for everything, so ensuring I set the best example I possibly can for them.
◇ What is the best advice you would like to give to a new mom?
Don’t compare yourself to others, you are doing an awesome job!
◇ What is one thing you never ever leave the house without?
Diaper bag, but more specific Diaper wipes or my car travel potty.
◇ What is something most people do not know about you?
I am an aunt to 4 nieces & 9 nephews (16 total cousins including my own all under the age of 11)! I was also the Co-Captain of Women’s Varsity Lacrosse at Boston College.

◇ You mentioned balancing home and work. What do you do for work?
I lead a team of six sales managers in the greater Boston area for a Fortune 500 CPG company
◇ You’re also involved in the community. Tell us what you’re up to this year.
I am the 2017/2018 Co-President of the Hingham Newcomers Club!
◇ Where do you love to shop?
I am by far a fashionista and love to get the basics for the kids at Old Navy, then I don’t feel guilty when “kids are being kids” and playing in the dirt ruining their clothes. Can also find some great deals at the Home Goods at Queen Anne’s Corner in Norwell.
◇ What is a must have product for moms?
Wine (just kidding… sort of) and the Starbucks App
◇ How about a must have product for kids?
Wet Brush (makes hair brushing a breeze)
