More Apples? Make a Cocktail! | South Shore Moms

Fall is synonymous with apple picking. We are overflowing with apples around here. Most of us headed home and enjoyed the delicious apples, baked them into a pie, a crisp, or made some homemade applesauce for the little ones. Now, we strongly suggest you set aside a few extra apples (10 to be exact) for a delicious (and well-deserved) cocktail.  Try this Fall Drink: The Caramel Apple Moscow Mule!

Make your own apple cider if you’re feeling extra ambitious (it actually is easier than it sounds, check out this recipe ), mix it with caramel infused vodka. Combine it with ginger beer, lime juice and voila!

  • 1.5 oz caramel vodka
  • 0.5 oz lime juice
  • 3.5 oz apple cider
  • 4 oz ginger beer

Combine all ingredients and serve in the classic copper mugs over ice. Garnish with an apple. Sit back, relax and enjoy the Fall.
