TSSM’s Favorite Thanksgiving Day Table DIY’s | South Shore Moms

With the holiday less than a week away, we all hopefully know who we will be hosting and where we are going for Thanksgiving! We’ve rounded up some of our favorite DIY crafts that Moms, kids, and the whole family are sure to love!

There is no better way to individualize your Thanksgiving Table with these adorable napkin holders ideas!

DIY Flower Napkin Rings

This adorable floral napkin holder from Sunshine Shoppe Blog, brings a fun pop of color to your table! This universal design can be reused at any festive occasion! Not a fan of yellow or a flower for your table? You can easily substitute for any other color or a festive bunch of leaves.

Supplies

  • toilet paper rolls
  • jute thread for wrapping-would also look great with elastic or ribbon if you are going for a less rustic style
  • your choice of fabric flowers or leaves
  • rhinestone or pearl embellishments for the center of the flowers

Instructions

  1. Cut your toilet paper tubes into fairly even rings. We thought that halves made them too thick so we cut our toilet paper rolls into thirds.
  2. Add a dot of glue to the inside of one of your rolls. We used hot glue for this project, but if you use a regular white glue or craft glue you may want to have a paperclip or a clothespin handy to hold the end of your string in place while it dries.
  3. Wrap your string until you have gone around the entire napkin ring. Secure your end with a dot of glue on the inside and let it dry.
  4. Next, select a flower to top off your napkin holder! You could choose matching flowers for all of your napkin rings, or an assortment in a similar color palette.
  5. Secure the flower to your napkin ring with a dot of glue.
  6. Add (optional) embellishment to the center of the flower with a dot of glue.
  7. Repeat until you have a full set of napkin holders!
