 Summer is for sunshine, smiles, and discovery – and at Puzzle Pieces, it’s also for empowering children to thrive! If you’re a family with a child aged 3-14 who benefits from therapeutic support, their neurodiversity-affirming summer group programs are designed just for you!  Puzzle Pieces creates a playful, supportive environment where kids build confidence, social skills, literacy, emotional regulation, and fine motor skills, all while having a blast!

Programs are ideal for children with autism, ADHD, anxiety, dyslexia, or other developmental differences. Their staff understands that every child learns and grows at their own pace, which is why they have expert-led groups to provide individualized support in a low-pressure setting.

Puzzle Pieces offers a range of specialized groups to meet various needs and interests:

  • Explorers Social Learning Groups (ages 3–6): Camp-like sensory and social play for our youngest adventurers.
  • Engagers Social Learning Groups (ages 6–9): Foster peer connection, engaging games, and essential communication skills.
  • Girls Just Want to Have Fun (ages 7–10): A supportive space for anxiety management and empowerment.
  • Fine Motor Promoters (K–2nd): Sharpen coordination, handwriting, and dexterity.
  • Handwriting Heroes (3rd–5th): Build fine motor skills and writing endurance.
  • Little Literacy Learners (Pre-K–K): Develop phonemic awareness and expand vocabulary.
  • Ready, Set, Read! (1st–2nd): Enhance reading fluency and comprehension.
  • Middle School Bootcamp (incoming 6th graders): Focus on organization, social skills, and confidence for the transition to middle school.

Their flexible summer schedule runs from June through August 2025. You can choose between:

  • Week-long sessions: Four consecutive days (e.g., June 23–26, August 25–28), typically from 9–11 AM.
  • Monthly sessions: One-hour weekly groups throughout July and August, available Monday through Friday with morning and afternoon time slots (e.g., 3–5 PM, 4–5 PM).
 
 

What Does a Day at Puzzle Pieces Look Like? Each day is crafted for kids that’s both enriching and enjoyable:

  • Morning check-in and warm welcome.
  • Engaging music and movement or sensory-based projects.
  • Collaborative games or creative arts.
  • A fun social snack and water break.
  • Recess or gross motor gym play to burn off energy.
  • A calming goodbye circle and routine to end the day on a positive note.
