One Dress. Endless Style. | South Shore Moms

By Guest Blogger: Amy Hendy

Ladies, it’s the one you need for school drop off and pick up; weekend errands; work; date night; school events; brunch and church. This dress does it all. And comfortably. Total. Mom. Score.

When I noticed this dress at Evereve, I was immediately drawn to the classic stripes and couldn’t resist the midi length and ruffle hem. I tried it on and WOW, there was no question I had to take it home, especially for the price. The fabric and flow are amazing. It is just so easy to wear. A great closet staple for all the days and ways you’ll wear it.  And, it is available only at Evereve (I love wearing a piece that’s a bit “exclusive”).

Let me show you how I like to style this dress.

School Drop Off/Pick Up and Errands

If your morning is similar to mine (I’m fairly confident it is) then you’re rushing to get you and the kiddos ready and out the door. I find the throw-on-and-go nature of a dress to be my best friend, especially when it is comfortable and flowy. If it is a little chilly or I’m craving more interest in my look, I add a jacket. Bombers are my latest obsession, but denim or cargo work just as well. Sneakers are not only acceptable with dresses but actually make you ultra stylish and trendy (who couldn’t use a little of that, am I right mamas?!) Here I am wearing my favorite white sneakers, but I recently added a pair of black and gold New Balance from Evereve to my closet, which would look equally fabulous. Finally, top the look off with a hat and you can avoid time spent on your hair, or just hide a bad hair day!

This dress is great for a casual office environment. I created a stylish look for the office by adding a sleeveless vest, plus fun yet classic accessories. It can easily be worn solo with a black heel or you can add a black blazer for a morning meeting. One final idea for changing it up is to add a short silk scarf that you tie around the neck or a longer version that’s left untied and hangs down the dress.

All you need to take this dress out for dinner with your man is a leather jacket.  Style it with black booties, dangling earrings (like my $12.99 beauties), and a cute clutch, and you’re looking both cool and chic.

Mom’s Night Out

I am on a white booties kick! I can’t get over how cool they make every outfit. I sometimes sub them in for my sneakers because mine are insanely comfortable. They’re truly all you need to take this dress out for some laughs with your friends!
